Help Troy With His First Photo Show

Hello Friends and Family,
As long as I’ve known Troy (26 years and counting), I have been utterly mystified by his ability to capture the most amazing moments through photography. He seems to know how to find and capture the beauty in every moment he is in, no matter where we are or what we are doing. This gift has been a passion for him all these years, and through the constant and insistent prodding of me and close friends, he finally agreed to approach our neighborhood coffee shop to inquire about his photography being shown. They agreed on the spot and now October 1, 2022 will be Troy's first coffee shop gallery.
It’s not just Troy’s incredible artistic vision that this series will celebrate, but also our community. The images that will be displayed in the front room have been curated from over seven years of snapshots taken in and around St Paul - primarily on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi river. Troy has an ongoing deep respect and reverence for the beauty of where he lives, works, walks, and plays, and we could not be more thrilled that others who live in our neighborhood will also be able to enjoy the breathtaking images he has captured. He has put a tremendous amount of time and heart into this selection, and I know you’ll love it just as much as we do.
This is where YOU get to participate. Originally he was going to have 7-9 prints on display at the coffee shop, but now they've asked him to share images for both their front and back room, so now his printing costs have doubled. Of course, Troy is modest about the whole thing, looking at ways to trim costs, do the prints with recycled frames, etc.
But his images are so breathtaking that they should be printed large and on high-quality paper, with quality frames and materials.
This will do those images justice. So I’ve asked him what it will cost to print all the images he’d like to display the total came to $2500. This includes large panoramic prints, metal prints, large format prints, framing, and a series of greeting cards too. The goal is to use this as a stepping-off point for his artistry and to see into a future where he can continue to share his work around our wonderful city and beyond.
Please help me support Troy in taking this big next step and to enhancing the quality of images he will be able to share with our community. Let's show him that he can take this next step in his passion and photography journey.
With gratitude and love,
