Just three short months ago, I began a new career path and met Troy, the man who was assigned to train me. In that short time, he’s left a lasting impression on me and everyone he works with. Troy set the standard for excellence, showing all of us what dedication, hard work, and character truly looks like.

Even after being diagnosed with colon cancer, Troy refused to let his illness define him. He would receive chemotherapy one day and still be the first person at work the next, ready to take on whatever the day held. He is, without question, one of the strongest men I’ve ever met.

Now, Troy faces a new and challenging chapter. As he prepares for surgery to remove the cancer that chemotherapy couldn’t eliminate, he will undergo the removal of his colon and lymph nodes and will need to live with a colostomy bag. While this is not what he had hoped for, Troy remains deeply grateful for the chance to continue his life and healing journey.

This long road to recovery means he will be unable to work for an extended period and will face significant medical bills alongside everyday living expenses. We are coming together to ask for your help to ease some of that financial burden so Troy can focus all of his energy on healing.
