Help Troy Harper Heal: Emergency Bypass Heart Surgery

My ex-husband, closest friend, and greatest co-parent, Troy Harper, underwent emergency quintuple bypass surgery Saturday morning after routine tests on Friday. His doctor admitted him immediately after discovering significant blockage in his heart, remarking it's a miracle he is still alive.

Troy is a graduate of Nederland High School and Lamar University and lives in his hometown with his 8-year-old daughter. He is a beloved member of the broadcast television family in Beaumont, TX. He has been with the KFDM family for 21 years as a photojournalist and broadcast engineer. He's never hesitated to go the extra mile for someone in need, to speak up for others, and is passing these qualities to our daughter. Troy is always shaking a hand, telling a joke, or making people smile with his infectious laugh.

He has a long road of recovery ahead and can use all the help he can get with mounting medical bills and a young daughter. Any bit helps, any share helps. Troy is there for everyone; now we need to be there for him.
