On September 4th of 2024, Troy walked into the emergency care center in pain, in hopes for relief, and wasn’t able to walk back out, he had been paralyzed from the chest down.

A bulging disc had pinched enough of his spinal cord to lead to paralyzation. After emergency surgery, following being transferred to another hospital, was performed it was said that there would be no guarantee if Troy would be able to gain back complete function, or be able to walk again.

As the future is still not known, Troy continues to navigate therapies, appointments, and getting life back to as normal as possible. To do this he is in need of a more accessible wheelchair to get back to doing the things he loves.

We are raising money to put towards an Action Trackchair that will allow Troy to enjoy the outdoors and spending time with his family. Troy is an avid fisherman, hunter, loves camping, and so much more.
