Help Troy, Ari, and Baby Charlie attend a funeral

Hi, I’m Tara. I am a new mom of a beautiful baby girl, and I am navigating new momhood while also traversing seemingly every possible life challenge while doing so.

But we are never the only ones going through struggles.

I am writing to you about my friend Ari, a fellow new mom who became dear to me this year as we entered new parenthood together.

Ari’s baby boy, Charlie Bear, is huge, squishy, and adorable at 3 months old. The other day, we all learned that Troy, Charlie’s father and Ari’s husband, lost his mother due to a sudden and unexpected accident, in of all places, simply running errands in a Home Depot parking lot.

Ari is Troy’s strength in this time, but neither of them have the funds to afford to travel to his mother’s funeral and family. They are already struggling, doing what they can to raise Charlie Bear.

I am reaching out to anyone who would like to help gather funds for Ari, Troy, and baby Charlie Bear in this time. The funds will go to two round-trip tickets in time for Troy’s mother’s celebration of life, as well as help and contributions towards Troy’s mother’s funeral.

I have been married for 24 years and just had my first child with my lifetime partner, and I remember what it was like to face grief at that point. Ari and Troy just married last year, and they are only just beginning their marriage and family journey!

I would love to try to give them strength in the beginning of the rest of their lives through this challenging loss.
