Funeral services for Troy

My name is Sarah Henderson. On 09/11/2024, tragedy struck. My son, Troy, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Through some miracle, he is alive and fully functional. Although there was damage to the brain, it appears to be minimal. We don't yet know if this will affect him in any way, but I am beyond grateful to still have my son and beyond grateful that I won't be bathing him for the rest of my life. However, he has been in the ICU, and I've been with him. I've missed a lot of work. I am drowning in more ways than one.

Prior to this, I was in the hospital myself for an illness that required IV antibiotics and missed 3 weeks of work. My first day back was 09/11/2024. I ran out of PTO through this, and I really need some help.

Troy is walking, talking, eating, etc. Troy is Troy. THANK GOD! But we still have a long road ahead of us. I plan to return to work soon now that he is stable, but I'm already behind on bills. I also need groceries and other things for when he returns home, which should be soon!!!

I want to thank everyone that has been praying, checking on Troy and me, bringing me food, and helping me where you could. I don't know how I would've gotten through this without you. Troy and I will get through this. We have a great support system. THANK YOU!
