Help Troy and Dominic Honor Mike's Memory

I am deeply saddened on behalf of my husband Troy, my son Dominic, and my mother-in-law Tina, to announce the sudden and unexpected loss of Troy's biological father, Troy Michael Unger (Mike). While the family mourns the loss of this beloved man, we will also have to go through paperwork to see if Mike has any type of life insurance.

As many of you are aware, Troy did not grow up with his father. In 2010, Troy found his father and a relationship started to grow. Mike was given the chance to know his son and grandson. As they all grew to know one another, they had some bumps in the road but had recently started to mend their relationship. Both Troy and Dominic stopped in almost daily to see Mike, trying to rebuild their relationship and know each other as adults now.

Anyone who knows my husband will tell you how generous and genuine he is, going out of his way to take care of family, friends, and strangers. Troy has previously lost his stepfather who raised him, so this is very much a place he was not prepared to deal with again. We are working on funeral services for Mike; however, the majority of it will fall onto Troy and me as Troy's mother is disabled and raising three of her grandchildren.
