I never thought I would have to write something like this. Recently, I was given a terminal cancer diagnosis. All the doctors told me there was nothing left they could do. Hearing that felt like the ground disappeared beneath my feet. But now… a door has opened. A doctor in another country has agreed to take my case and attempt a 6-month treatment program that could potentially save my life. It’s a real chance. Something I was told I didn’t have anymore.

There’s one major obstacle: The treatment costs are extremely high. Because of how their program works, if I complete the six months and the tumors do not shrink by at least 90%, they will refund the treatment costs so I can use that money to live out whatever time I have left. So this truly feels like the only shot I have at fighting back.
