My friend, Trong Luu, and his family have been going through the toughest time in their lifetime during the Pandemic. The whole family of 6 (his parents (Ky & Hao Luu), his wife (Nguyet Luu), himself (Trong Luu) and his 2 children (Jason and Julia Luu) got Covid-19 and has been in and out of the hospital so many times by ambulance and treatments from the hospital.
His parents were recovered from the Covid-19 but the horrible snow storm in Houston that took the lives of his Dad and Mom in a few days apart due to the freezing cold from the snow storm without power, heat and water in the past few days.
His daughter, Julia Luu, has been in hospital more than a week and currently in ICU now. Trong Luu is also admitted to the hospital yesterday and on the road to recovery.
Here are some of the words from Jason Luu to his sister Julia Luu:
"Hi. My family has been fighting covid for weeks. My grandma and grandpa couldn’t make it, and my father is in the emergency room. My sister is currently in the ICU and they say she’s in critical condition... she is currently unconscious and is breathing with a machine. Please, all I ask is for prayers for my sister, she is everything to me and I cannot be without her, please pray she will be okay. I’m not usually religious but I could really use god right now to be on our side. I love my sister, and I just want her to be okay".
