Trixie has been roaming for several days, and she even crossed the freeway twice. She had to be darted, which cost $350 this morning, it was clear she’s been struggling — she’s limping and will need veterinary care.

We’re searching for her owner, but if no one comes forward, Trixie already has a foster lined up. For now, we’re getting her checked out and making sure she gets the medical attention she needs.

Local rescues are overwhelmed, so we’re covering her immediate care ourselves. We’re raising funds for her vetting, treatment for her limp, and anything else she may need. Any extra will go toward helping other dogs in similar situations.
