HI I’M TRIXIE.
I’m an out of work trans woman living on the West Coast, and I’m going through a divorce. My depression and anxiety, not to mention the hardships that Covid have brought to the American workforce, have made it near impossible for me to make money this year. And now my ex-wife has surprised me with unexpected legal bills in the final stages of our divorce. I’m facing a $5,000 bill for her legal expenses and I’m terrified of what’ll happen if I’m unable to pay it.
Asking for help is hard for me. I wouldn’t do it if I had any other options. But I must rely on the kindness of the internet to help lift me out of this.
Looking over the legal paperwork and creating this GoFundMe and all other things that relate to my divorce give me extreme anxiety and put me right back into the mental headspace of the marriage that I am trying to escape. This is very challenging for me. Please, any help you can give me would make it just that much easier for me to face.
My sincerest thanks to all who are kind enough to share or donate.
