My name is Tristen, and I’m raising funds to attend nail school so I can become a licensed nail technician. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted a career where I could connect with people, be a listening ear, and help others feel empowered. Because of my learning disabilities, traditional college hasn’t been a good fit for me, but nail school offers a hands-on path where I can thrive and make a difference in my community.

I’ve been working as a waitress to support myself, but the long hours and constant exhaustion have made it difficult to keep up. Nail school is my only realistic option for furthering my education, and it’s a chance for me to build a stable future. Once I complete the program, I’ll be able to support myself, create my own schedule, and have the flexibility I need for my mental health. My dream is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels safe and valued.

The tuition for my program is more than I can afford on my own, and I don’t qualify for grants because the course is less than four months. I’m asking for help to cover my tuition so I can start this new chapter and build a career I’m truly passionate about. Any support will bring me closer to my goal and help me create a positive impact for others.
