My name's Tristan. I'm a 25 year old with a chronic illness and broke my leg when falling down the stairs of my apartment building on Monday, November 11th. Since then my life has been a whirlwind of medication, surgery, and stressing about my medical recovery. Because I'm physically unable to work and now have new medical expenses on top of the ones from before, I am facing a rock and a hard place.
About to go off to medical rehab, I need to make sure I can cover transportation fees and all my other bills. I will not be able to use my left leg for over a month, and considering I already have issues with my joints and other connective tissues this will be extra hard for me to keep on top of. If I can make sure I won't become homeless due to an injury that was out of my control it would really help me keep my head up during the recovery process.
Because of how my building is set up, it's also very possible I won't be able to go home right after medical rehab and may need to get set up at a hotel for several weeks. Currently taking it one day at a time and I'll be updating everyone as much as I can.
Thank you for any support you can offer at this time!
