My name is Kelsey, and I’m a single mother to the bravest little boy I know, Tristan! Today, I’m reaching out because my son needs open-heart surgery, and I cannot do this alone.

When I first learned about his heart condition, my world stopped. I’ve held my son through sleepless nights, listened to doctors explain scary words no parent wants to hear, and watched my baby fight through challenges most adults never face. He is only 7, yet he has already shown a strength that humbles me every day.

Being a single mom means I am his only support, his only advocate, and the only one making every hard decision.
