My son Tristan Massicotte was born on September 10th, 2025, and had a very complicated pregnancy and birth. When he was born, he got stuck in the birth canal and had what the doctors call a shoulder dystocia. He came out blue and not breathing.

When he got stuck in the birth canal, his head has yet to shape back to normal. Due to the research I've been keeping up with, he will need a reshaping helmet to put his head back to normal. The time frame for which these helmets stop working is after 12 months. He is currently 4 months old, and I'm just trying to give my son the best care I can.

I am currently looking for a job and don't have a car to get to and from appointments on my own, so I rely on my mom, who has a very busy schedule and an underage son of her own. The helmet he will need will be anywhere between $1,000 to $5,000, and most of the time it is not covered by insurance, which we do not have at the moment. I just want to get my son the best help he can get. Unfortunately, his father is in a year-long program changing his life to better himself for our son and cannot financially support us right now. So, I'm genuinely stuck between a rock and a hard place, and I just want to give my son everything in the world. If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just a prayer.
