My name is TRISHIA, and I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help. My car’s transmission broke down unexpectedly, and it’s been incredibly stressful trying to manage without it. I rely on my car every day to get my kids to their after-school activities, appointments, and to get to work. Not having a working car has made everything feel out of control, and it’s affecting every part of our lives.

The repair is expensive, and while I’ve managed to come up with part of the cost, I’m still short of what I need. I was recently laid off from work, and now not having a car to even look for new work is the worst feeling ever. I feel completely lost and overwhelmed, especially knowing how important it is to have reliable transportation for my family and emergencies.
