Help Trishawn Fight Stage 3 Cervical Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,
My name is Peta gay Waugh, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for assistance. My beloved niece, Trishawn Royal, who is only 34 years old, has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. This devastating news has not only affected Trishawn but also her two young children, Tristian, age 13, and Trisynya, age 4, who depend on her for guidance and love.
Over the past year, I have had the privilege of being Trishawn’s primary caregiver, and I have witnessed the heartbreaking effects of this disease on her and our entire family. Trishawn has already undergone phase 1 of her treatment, which included brachytherapy, chemotherapy, and radiation, costing approximately 6 million Jamaican dollars. However, her journey is far from over. She is now required to move into phase two of her treatment plan, which includes six cycles of chemotherapy and surgery, with an estimated cost of 10 million Jamaican dollars set to begin on September 30, 2024.
The financial burden of Trishawn’s medical needs is overwhelming, and every day brings new challenges. In addition to the treatment costs, she requires various tests, MRIs, and CT scans that further strain our family's already exhausted savings.
As her caregiver, I have faced considerable emotional and physical challenges myself, witnessing her pain and suffering. Trishawn’s spirit remains unyielding, as her primary motivation is to be present for her children as they navigate through life. It breaks my heart to think that the life of such a loving mother may be cut short without the proper treatment she desperately needs to continue fighting.
This is why I am reaching out to you today. We are asking for your generosity and support to help us raise the necessary funds for Trishawn’s continued treatment. Your contribution can make a significant difference in her life, giving her the fighting chance she deserves and the opportunity to be with her children as they grow.
We sincerely appreciate any amount you can contribute, no matter how small. Every bit helps, and your support will restore hope and healing in Trishawn's life and provide comfort to her children during this challenging time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read Trishawn's story. Please share this campaign with others who may be able to help. Together, we can make a difference.
With deepest gratitude,
