Help Trish & Johnny: COVID-19 Financial Burden

UPDATES: 1) My name is Cristobal Garcia and I am a friend of Patricia Escobar and Juan-Antonio (Johnny) Duran. Patricia Escobar is the intended recipient of the funds in support of her family as Johnny continues to battle COVID and it's related complications. 

2) The funds will be spent to pay medical bills, as well as supporting the family through any personal bills (house payment, car loans, insurance, gas, electric, water, etc...) so that they can get through the expenses and financial losses impacted while Johnny got and began recovery from COVID-19.

3) Patricia Escobar has been added as the beneficiary of the campaign, and will be withdrawing the funds.

UPDATES: Trish is excited to share that the medical staff have capped Johnny's trache for now because he is getting oxygen through his nose now! If he can stay like that for a couple more days they will take out his trache all together. He is recieving about 3-4 liters of oxygen now. Also, on Monday he went on the tilted table at 30 degrees to try and eventually get vertical. He also ate a few pieces of peach from a fruit cup and drank apple cranberry juice from a straw for the first time yesterday.

Dear Friends - We are reaching out today on behalf of Johnny, Trish, Chloe and Ethan. 

You may have heard that Johnny (Juan Moran) was diagnosed with COVID-19 in early November and has been battling this horrible disease and its related medical complications since. Johnny was in the ICU in Greeley for three months. Since then, he has been in Denver to continue needed treatment to combat COVID-19. On the evening of February 1st, he underwent a life-threatening procedure, and since then has been recovering slowly due to the gravity of the procedure. Johnny, Trish, and the whole family have a long road ahead of them as Johnny continues to heal, and deal with the recovery that comes next. 

We all love Trish and Johnny and their whole family. Their fierce spirit that has inspired so many of us to be our best and to always support our community. Over the last 25 years, Trish has stayed late to help all of us, often sacrificing time with her own family. The effects of this illness have been devastating, but with our help they can get through this together.

Queridos Amigos - Hoy nos comunicamos con todos ustedes en nombre de Johnny, Trish, Chloe e Ethan.

Es posible que hayan escuchado que Johnny (Juan Moran) fue diagnosticado con COVID-19 a principios de noviembre y que desde entonces ha estado luchando contra esta terrible enfermedad y las complicaciones médicas relacionadas con ella. Durante tres meses, Johnny estuvo en la unidad de Cuidados Intensivos en Greeley. Desde entonces, lo trasladaron a Denver para continuar con los tratamientos necesarios para combatir el COVID-19. La tarde del 1 de febrero, Johnny fue sometido a un procedimiento que puso en peligro su vida y desde entonces se ha ido recuperando lentamente por la gravedad del procedimiento.
