✨ Help Suga Buga & Her Rose Keep Their Home ✨
Hello, my name is Trish L., and I’m humbly asking for help to keep a roof over my granddaughter’s head — my little Rose, who just turned 4 years old.
We are still in our apartment, but we are facing eviction with a court date approaching. I work part-time and receive a small pension, and I stretch every dollar as far as I can, but unexpected hardships caused us to fall behind on rent.
I reached out to every resource I could — Salvation Army, MDHHS, Brightside, 211, and Meijer Family Matters — but help has been limited.
All I want is stability and safety for Rose. She calls me Suga Buga, and I call her Suga or my Rose. She is the reason I keep fighting through every challenge.
Why Our Goal Is $6,500
Eviction costs add up fast.
This amount covers:
Past-due rent
Court fees & late fees
“Pay-to-stay” charges
Next month’s rent
Utilities
Backup costs if the court doesn’t rule in our favor
Every dollar goes directly toward preventing eviction and keeping us housed.
My Faith & My Strength
My Aunt Christine always said:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
That scripture gives me the strength to keep going.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us stay in our home.
With love,
Trish & my Rose
