Help Trish and Joe After Devastating House Fire

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my godmother and my uncle, Trish and Joe, who tragically lost everything in a devastating house fire.

On Friday, May 9th, Joe was woken up at 1:30am by the sound of their dogs barking and knew something was wrong. He opened their bedroom door only to see their kitchen engulfed in flames spreading rapidly. Joe yelled for Trish to wake up and they made their way to the front door. Before they knew it, the place that they had called home for the last 20 years was burning down in front of them. While we are extremely grateful they made it out safely, and with minimal injuries, sadly 2 of their beloved fur babies did not and we still have not located their rescue kitties. Joe and Trish lost everything in the fire, including Trish’s car. They ran out of the house with only the clothes they were sleeping in. No car keys, no phones, no personal belongings, nothing.

Joe and Trisha’s lives were turned upside down in the blink of an eye and are now facing the unimaginable. Thankfully their farm was not affected, but now they are left to maintain the farm and care for all the animals on the property even though their home is no longer there.  They are always there to help other’s and would do anything for anyone. They would give you the shirt off their back and their last dollar to anyone in need and now it’s our turn to give back.

Funds raised will be going towards housing/living expenses, clothing, replacing household items and everyday necessities as well as future items and support as they begin to rebuild their lives after such a devastating loss.
