I have dreaded posting this but I realize without the help and support from all my people’s I won’t be able to recover from this financial burden otherwise. Saturday I was headed to a photo shoot and planned to ride a scooter but on the way I was cut off by a car full of people wearing masks. One guy got out and at gunpoint told me to give him my bag as he searched my pockets. he took my phone and about $200 in cash and my bag which contained two of my Sony cameras , three lenses and my Apple MacBook pro and several smaller items I’m still trying to inventory then they drove off. Im NGL it was one of the scariest situations I’ve ever been in, But thank god nothing crazier happened. I’m thankful to be alive.
I posted online about what happened and got a lot of love and support from my community and thru all that a lot of people said I should create a gofundme so I figured it could only help, This equipment represents years of saving, countless jobs, and every lesson I've learned in my career, So Now I am posting this in hopes that you can all help me as I try to recoup and rebuild my business.
Why I Need Your Help
Im exploring all the avenues I can but the truth is, replacing $20,000 of specialized equipment is an impossible mountain to climb alone.
I am asking for your support to replace the essential core of my kit so I can get back to doing what I love and providing for myself. Every dollar raised will go directly toward replacing the cameras, lenses, and laptop necessary to book my next jobs.
If you can't donate, I completely understand. Sharing this campaign with your network, your photography groups, or on social media would be an equally monumental help.
Thank you, from the deepest part of my heart, for reading my story and for considering a donation. You all know This equipment represents a Dream I’ve been building for the last 6-7 years. This is how I create my art and support my family and pay my bills. So anything you send is greatly appreciated I couldn’t do this without you all so thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all know how important my art is to me and I want to be able to continue providing customers and potential customers with the very best. I look forward to the day I can use this new equipment to thank you all by creating beautiful work again.
Thank you all so much,
Trippy Sanders
