Hello, my name is Trinity. My family and I are going through an extremely rough time. It’s me, my mom, my twin sister, my two little brothers, and my gorgeous best friend Storm—she’s my cat and my chaotic ball of daily heart attacks. We are now facing foreclosure and the loss of our home because of a difficult and abusive situation with my stepfather. For the past two years, my mom has been fighting through the courts to get away from him, but the process has been slow and painful. Despite everything, my mom has shown incredible strength, carrying so much pain on her shoulders while trying to protect us. My stepfather refuses to pay child support, and his actions have made life extremely hard for all of us. He struggles with addiction and often takes his anger out on our family, making our home a place of fear instead of safety.
On top of all this, I have been diagnosed with tuberculosis, which keeps me from working and being around others. I had an opportunity lined up at Marklund in Illinois to work with special needs people, but my TB diagnosis from what seemed like a normal physical for work ended that dream for now. My youngest brother has autism and is non-verbal, and he is like my own son—he’s my heart and the reason I wanted to work with special needs people. I want to make sure we have the resources and safest environment possible for him and for Storm. Even though my health has changed my plans, I will always be my brother’s advocate through better and worse, and I’ll always be there for all of my family.
The funds from this fundraiser will go toward housing, helping my mom win in court, covering daily essentials, bills, transportation, necessities, and my own medical care and medication. Most importantly, it will help us build a more stable life for my little brothers, who deserve a childhood free from fear and hardship. I am grateful for any support, prayers, or kind thoughts you can offer. Even if you can’t contribute, just reading our story means so much. Thank you for caring and for giving my family hope during this difficult time. Your kindness truly makes a difference, and I wish you all the blessings you deserve.
