This is Trinity! Trinity will turn 9 years old in August 2025. Trinity is one of the most loving and sweetest dogs that I've ever had. She has helped me through many difficult times in my life, and she makes coming home after a long day at work so much better. I honestly can't see myself without her. This is why I am asking for your help today.
In May, my family and I noticed a mass in one of her breasts. We immediately set up an appointment for her to be checked out. We spent $380 for the first visit getting her up-to-date on her vaccinations as well as dealing with an inner ear infection that was causing her some additional discomfort. On June 30th, we returned to the vet to run some tests on the mass and get some x-rays done for $625. They performed a Fine-Needle Aspiration (FNA) to collect cell samples of the mass. The results revealed that the mass was indeed a malignant strain of breast cancer. We ran additional blood tests to determine whether or not she would be able to withstand surgery, and her blood tests showed that she is completely healthy despite her recent medical diagnosis. Additionally, initial x-rays have confirmed that the cancer has not spread within her body.
The amazing staff at Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital have concluded that the next best step is to get the mass removed as soon as possible. They have estimated the procedure to cost between $987.95 to $1,476.95. The procedure is scheduled for July 24, 2025. Any donations to help reduce the financial strain this has caused are greatly appreciated. With your help, Trinity will have a chance.
