Help my Daughter get the healing she deserves

Donation protected
I do not like to ask for help (I'm so stubborn), and as embarrasing as something like this is I have to at least try. As a Mom (or Father) you will try EVERY avenue you can to help your child. As some of you know my daughter Kayla has had a lengthy battle with her mental health. She suffers from severe anxiety, depression, autistic behaviour and borderline personality disorded, PTSD and others. She uses self harm, and has had multiple suicide attempts, to cope with the pain and trauma she suffered as a child and still suffers today. I cannot tell you more about that (the past) as there is a publication ban for the safety of all involved.

She has gone through all of the supports that Prince Albert and Sask has to offer. She has been to mulitple counselors, mental health walk in clinics, psycologists and 3 psychiatrists. She has even utilized many suicide help lines in times of need. And as many of you also know we dont even have a Child Psychiatrist here in Prince Albert anymore.

She has had 3 stays in the Youth Mental Ward here in Prince Albert and two at the Dube Center in Saskatoon. The two wards are only there to keep your child safe and get them on meds etc then they send them home, there is no treatment so to speak. Kayla has reached a point where we have tried everything and nothing has helped her maintain any kind of stable mental health. She needs more help than I can provide for her and we are asking for your help. I do still have some phone calls to make and some meetings to attend to see if there is anything out there for funding for this, but have not found anything yet and to be honest the clock is ticking as I don't know how much longer she can hold on.

I am fundraising to help pay for a six to nine-week stay at a private inpatient mental health treatment center in B.C. They have one of the best mental health teams, in which a full-length program is needed to support recovery rather than treatment already seeked within Saskatchewan. Past treatment options have not been comprehensive enough to support the current struggles, and are seeking Homewood Ravensview as a last-resort option to support recovery. Funds will be used to finance up to a nine-week stay at $800.00 per day. Please consider sharing this post or donating to help my daughter get the recovery she deserves, We are grateful for all the help and hope to share the story of recovery.
