Help Trina & Riley Rebuild After Fire

Hello, my name is Trina Bullock and my boyfriend’s name is Riley Morgan. We’ve lived together in our house in Detroit since October. We were excited to spend our first summer there together, until the most unfortunate event occurred.

We went down the street to grab takeout and came back home. As we were eating downstairs, we started hearing noises coming from upstairs (sounded like a person walking around). Riley went upstairs to check it out, and as soon as he turned the corner, it was completely engulfed in flames and black smoke. Luckily, we were able to get the dogs out and call 911. They stopped the spread to the rest of the house, but not before it took everything Riley and I had. Firefighters said it was an electrical fire, and sadly, we did not have renters insurance, so we’re on our own.
