Help Trikone Chicago Shine at Pride Parade

Trikone Chicago, a South Asian LGBTQIA+ non-profit in the Windy City, is thrilled to participate in the 53rd Annual Chicago Pride Parade on June 30, 2024, for the fourth successive year.

Things are different this year: the parade has been capped at 125 entries, down from 200 last year, centering visibility of parade participants to LGBTQ+-owned businesses, non-profits, and other marginalized groups.

Trikone's participation in the parade in 2019 , 2022 and 2023 dazzled parade spectators with our ebullient dancing to Bollywood music, colorful t-shirts and outfits (who doesn't love some South Asian bling?) and above all, strong solidarity in affirming our queer, diaspora identities in Chicago.

Our group contains all letters of the alphabet along with voices and spirits from all over the world, and we encourage and deeply appreciate your generous support for helping us fundraise for this year.

Trikone stands for Safety, and Visibility, of the South Asian queer community. Trikone has created a bastion for community members in the City of Chicago by hosting cultural nights, film festivals, literary events, awareness campaigns, pride celebrations, and additional collaborative programming.

Marching in the Pride Parade has become our highest-visibility event of the year. Your generosity in contributing any amount helps us make this happen.

We will march, dance, sing, and celebrate our authentic selves. Our target fundraising will cover the cost of renting the float, parade entrance fees, decorations, water, and snacks for the marchers. Thanks in advance for your contributions to this cause; that means so much to us!
