Help Support Tricia Hankins-Kerns After a Life-Altering Stroke

Thank you for taking a moment to read this. We are creating this fundraiser on behalf of our loved one, Tricia, who recently suffered a stroke that has completely changed her life. The past few weeks have been overwhelming as we navigate the medical challenges, sudden expenses, and the uncertainty that comes with such a life-altering event.

The stroke has left Tricia with significant physical limitations, and she is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation. Doctors have told us the recovery process will be long, difficult, and expensive. While we remain hopeful and grateful for every step forward, the financial strain has become more than she can manage alone.

Along with the medical crisis, we are now facing housing instability. Because of Tricia’s condition, she is only able to work part time and the loss of income has put her in a financial bind. We are doing everything possible to keep her in a safe, stable environment but the bills continue to pile up — rent, utilities, medical co-pays, rehabilitation costs, mobility needs, and basic living expenses.

We are asking for help to raise $8,500 to cover:

   •   Transportation to medical. appointments

   •   Basic necessities during recovery
