Tricia was violently beaten and stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend (ex) on August 18. She was awakened to his hands around her throat choking her, he then beat her violently on her face, head and body. Afterwards he grabbed a knife and tried to stab her, telling her the only way she would be leaving was in a body bag. She fought for her life with everything she had. She sustained several deep stab wounds, bruises and abrasions. He also put the knife through her cell phone, making it inoperable so she had no way to call for help.
Thankfully she was able to escape him and get to her car. Since he had destroyed her phone, she had no way to ask for assistance so she drove herself 45 minutes to the hospital.
Through the grace of God her injuries were bad but not life threatening! She was treated, her stab wounds were stitched, police reports were made and the creep was taken into custody.
The physical injuries are bad, but even worse is the emotional toll. Her sense of safety and trust in others has been shattered. She feels fear where it had not existed before. She fears he will be bailed out of jail. She fears that he will come after her again. She fears he knows where she works, where she lives, her routine. She fears!
This attack was unprovoked. She fell asleep peacefully and was wakened to many peoples very worst nightmare. She is a victim to this lowlife scum. She has suffered enough and shouldn’t have to suffer financially also. She doesn’t have medical insurance so will have an expensive emergency room bill, continued medical expense. She is currently unable to work so she will suffer a loss of income for at least a couple of weeks as she heals. Her new IPhone XS-MAX was destroyed (without insurance ) with a balance, so not only will she have to continue paying on the destroyed phone, she will also need to secure another phone. Along with all of this she will likely benefit from beginning counseling to start working through this tramautic event.
Please help me bless her by taking away this financial burden. She needs to focus on healing physically and emotionally, without worrying about how she will manage the cost of the attack, which would only victimize her further.
