In May 2026, Trey began feeling unlike his usual happy, energetic self. After several doctor’s appointments and visits with specialists, Trey and his family received devastating news: he had been diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that develops in the bones and requires extensive medical care and treatment.

The family’s hope is for Trey to spend as much time as possible at home, surrounded by the people he loves. Once he is released from the hospital, he will receive hospice care at home.
