My name is Treyson, and last July, I nearly died.
I spent five weeks in the hospital with severe sepsis, kidney failure, blood clots, embolisms, and other life-threatening complications. The damage was significant, and some of it is permanent.
Since then, my life has changed completely. I’m living with daily seizures, neurological symptoms, cognitive and memory issues, and vocal cord paralysis that still requires ongoing care. Recovery has been slow and incomplete, and the paralysis continues to affect my ability to swallow, eat, and drink safely, leading to serious malnutrition.
I’m still trying to get answers and the right treatment, but the process has been slow, exhausting, and expensive.
I recently spent seven-days hospitalized in the epilepsy monitoring unit, and that experience was my breaking point. It made it clear to me that I can’t do this alone anymore..
Right now, I’m unable to work and struggling to keep up with basic living expenses while managing ongoing medical care. My savings are gone, my credit cards are maxed out, and my family has already done everything they can.
Funds from this campaign will go toward:
-Medical care and co-pays
-Transportation to appointments
-Medications
-Food and basic daily needs
-Essential bills that have built up during this time
Asking for help is not easy for me. I’ve always been the person who shows up for others, not the one asking. But right now, I need support to stay afloat while I keep fighting to recover.
If you’re able to donate, even $5 makes a real difference. If you can’t, sharing this would mean a lot.
Thank you for helping me hold on while I work toward stability and healing.
