Help Trey Recover His Stolen Gear

Trey is one of the most hardworking individuals I know who unfortunately had their laptop and camera (all items that are worth about $8000) stolen from my car yesterday morning when he went upstairs to his studio (for literally only 10 minutes) to grab equipment for a photoshoot he had. As a close friend who takes the effort of watching my son when I need a break, I wanted to show my appreciation by letting him use my car for work while he is on the hunt for a new one. Somehow, someone got into my bmw (without breaking windows) and stole not only his equipment for his livelihood but also all three of his hard drives. As we all can imagine, something like this is absolutely devastating and discouraging. I want him to know that community has his back!!! His insurance is an $1000 deductible (now he’s being told it’s $5000) and the remaining $3000 will go towards any further needs for mental health and taking some much needed time for himself. Even if we don’t get to the goal, the minimum that we need for him to at the very least get his stuff covered is the $1000 ($5000 now?).
