Help Trey Keep His Belongings

Hello! My name is Christin, and almost three years ago I posted a video on TikTok talking about the situation me and my partner at the time, Trey, were going through. Trey is a diabetic, and after loosing his job and health insurance from the covid outbreak in 2020 he lost access to his insulin which caused him to go into diabetic ketoacidosis. During this period he was not himself at all, he was incredibly confused going through a medical emergency and had an unfortunate encounter with people on the street and law enforcement. He was taken to jail and our whole lives stopped. This man is not a criminal. He had no idea what he was doing because of his medical condition (that we weren’t allowed to address in court). He is not a bad person, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone and everyone who knows him knows that. We’re hopeful that at his sentencing he will be released but until then we have to pay his rent and utilities so he doesn’t lose his apartment. He already lost his job which is the whole reason this all happened in the first place. He’s built such an incredible and productive life in the last three years. He’s in such a good place now and it crushes us to have that possibly taken away from him again. Thats where you might come in Please know that there is absolutely no pressure to donate, even hearing our story and sharing it can help. But if you’re able to donate, his rent is $1500 and his utilities are about $500 altogether. Whatever you donate would be going straight to that If he is released, he won’t have to go home to nothing and all I’m asking is for help to give him at least that.
