UPDATE!!
So he was finally able to do the test that determined that he had had a stroke. Definitely not a minor diagnosis, by any stretch!
He still has a lesion in the center of his brain, and some swelling. They are also wanting to do some further testing to make sure that surrounding areas aren't also affected or damaged.
What we are praying for, is that they will find that the issue is isolated, and that as the swelling goes down and he attends physical therapy, his symptoms will eventually resolve. Knowing those answers, and seeing those results (hopefully) are still a ways away.
So we still have a long road ahead of us, but at least we found out which way we are headed.
With the testing and physical therapy, and everything that comes with continuing to miss work, there is still a huge financial need.
Anything- ANYTHING is hugely appreciated.
I can't begin to say how thankful I am for the of this community already. The impact it has had on all of us, especially my dad, can't be put into words. I know that's said a lot, but it really can't. We are completely overwhelmed with gratitude at the generosity in the hearts of every single person who donated.
My dad is my superhero, and what yall have done for my superhero.. yall have become my superheroes too. I can't even type that without tears.

Hello, I'm Britnee, Trey's oldest daughter.

As many of you know, my dad has been sick for some time now. Despite a month's worth of testing, waiting, and multiple opinions, they are still having trouble finding what's wrong, and there is no end in sight. In the meantime, he is waiting, barely able to talk, walk, or see. My dad is a very hard worker, a family man who loves with all his heart, a friend to so many, with a contagious laugh and a heart of gold. He'd never turn anyone away if they were in trouble.

I know people say that, but I have to tell you—it's an honor to type that and know that every word is true, and that it's my dad.

With mysterious illnesses and conditions, locating the source of the problem and beginning to treat it is both a frustrating waiting game and a bottomless money pit during it.

My dad is the primary provider for his family. He's got a loving wife, Kristi, who's been so wonderful taking care of him, and a 15-year-old still living at home. He also has two grown daughters (me and my sister Jennifer) and we love to come visit any time we get a chance. He also has a 3 year old grandbaby, who absolutely ADORES her Papa. ❤️

The medical bills don't have any signs of slowing down yet. Canadian Parts, my dad's local shop, also has bills piling up, not to mention just the family's own daily cost of living. You can imagine, or perhaps know yourself, what bearing the responsibility of being such a provider feels like.

I'm asking for his community, his family, and everyone who loves him or reads this, for help.

We need our dad back. We need him healthy, whole, and not trapped—waiting for the other foot to fall. If you cannot donate now, then thank you so much for taking the time to read this, donating anything you can, and possibly sharing it. And also, most especially, for your prayers, which are so powerful and very much appreciated. ❤️ Again, thank you!
