Hi everyone,
This is Trey Lambert (Harold is my legal name…but I’m a third so been Trey my entire life! ) and I’m trying to raise funds to help Kim and I keep what we have left as well as continue her treatment. Medical expenses have us at zero funds. We lost the dojo as well as the house at 2192 Lenox Rd. Unfortunately my pride kept me from explaining or asking for help until this point.
As a friend, family member, student, etc. you’re likely aware that the health challenges Kim has had the last several years we’re getting progressively worse. It became impossible to run the dojo and give her the attention she needed. But she was worse off than either of us thought and on March 24 she collapsed on the sidewalk and was taken to the Emory ER, then spent 5 days in the hospital getting treatment and tests. They revealed the same chronic hormone and metabolism problems as before but also neurological and liver function issues. She will need many additional follow ups including a liver biopsy.
Any funds raised would cover
-unpaid medical expenses of $2,000
-transportation to Emory and back (she’s been staying with various friends Intown to be closer but ultimately we will be staying with brother’s family in Paulding County.
-keeping our phones on
AND
-Our most pressing concern at the moment is that everything we own is currently in a storage unit that we are about to be evicted from because of a $348 past due amount.
