We are so excited to start this journey helping families in Idaho with chronic lung disease due to prematurity. Kids with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia often spend many months in the hospital, have to travel out of state for care and require special equipment when coming home. While insurance does cover a good bit of this, it doesn't cover everything, and once the kids are home, one of the parents often has to stop working to manage the child's care. It's very financially draining for many families, and they often make sacrifices to keep their BPD kiddo happy and healthy. Our goal is to alleviate that burden by helping families with equipment not covered by insurance, providing funds to help with travel expenses, and even covering basic family needs when funds are tight.

Your donation will fund several projects through the T-Rex Little Lungs Foundation. We provide tangible support items like travel kits for families traveling out of state for emergency procedures, helping to cover needed items not covered by insurance and providing emotional support and education on the diagnosis.
