Hi. I have created this "go fund me" page to help my friends whose son, Trevor, is battling brain cancer (Stage 4 astrocytoma). He is 22 years old.

 

After his high school graduation,  he attended Auburn University to major in Mechanical Engineering.  After three semesters at Auburn University, Trevor decided to serve his country by joining the United States Air Force and was planning for a successful career. However, while stationed at Minot AFB, on March 28, 2022, Trevor became confused and was not speaking clearly.  This concerned his immediate military supervisor.  His supervisor transported him to Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND, where an MRI was performed. It was determined that Trevor had swelling on the left side of his brain.

Trevor was medevac to UAB hospital in Birmingham, AL where a brain biopsy revealed a high-grade glioblastoma.  The pathology department was able to identify the tumor as  a Grade 4 Astrocytoma.   This tumor has affected Trevor’s speech, ability to communicate, and his physical movement.

 

Trevor is currently receiving chemotherapy and radiation, as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapy. The family and medical teams are hopeful, but Trevor has a long battle ahead of him.
