Hello, my name is Trevor, an 18-year-old rugby player from Uganda and the proud captain of my school’s rugby team. I’ve been passionate about rugby since primary school, dedicating countless hours to training and giving my very best on the field.

Now, I’ve been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: I’ve been selected to represent Uganda at the World Schools Festival in Abu Dhabi, taking place 14th–20th December 2025. This prestigious international event brings together the world’s top schools to compete in rugby. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and global friendship, watched by millions of viewers worldwide.

Playing on this field and wearing my country’s colours would be a dream come true. But there’s one challenge – Uganda is unable to cover my costs, meaning I must raise the funds myself for flights, travel insurance, accommodation, and other essential expenses.
