Trevor is a loving father and a person of presence who has always been there for others in our community, never asking for anything in return. In February 2024, his life was turned upside down when his house caught fire. It was the home where he was raising his kids, and overnight, they lost nearly everything—clothes, toys, furniture, and the things that made their house a home. Trevor immediately paid out of pocket to replace essentials for his kids, trying to shield them from the worst of the loss.
Insurance issued a payout, but a significant portion is still being held by the mortgage company, leaving Trevor with far less than what’s needed to restore the house. The property was gutted during mitigation, and since then, two pipe bursts have caused even more water damage. When the burned porch was removed, hidden structural issues were exposed, making the repairs even more complicated and expensive. The house has remained in limbo for far too long, and now, foreclosure is being discussed. Trevor has been fighting through insurance, contractor bills, and repair setbacks, all while trying to protect his kids from the stress and uncertainty.
The financial pressure has reached a breaking point. The money raised here will help bridge the gap between the insurance payout and the much higher repair costs, so Trevor and his kids can return to their home. Trevor has always been there for others, and now he needs our help. If you’re able, please consider supporting him and his family. Your generosity will make a real difference in their lives.
