Update on Trevor

First and foremost, Trevor is so grateful to everyone for the incredible kindness, prayers, and support you've all shown. I had the opportunity to speak with him in person, and he is truly humbled and grateful.

I'd also like to clarify a few details at Trevor's request:

The home destroyed by the tornado was a rental and his landlords home also sustained damages as well as others in his community.

Thankfully, Trevor and his daughter are both safe as she was with her mother suring the incident. Trevor sustained only minor cuts and bruises, and he is incredibly grateful to have survived.

Trevor shared that he intends to use only the funds he truly needs to recover. Any remaining donations, once his immediate needs are met, will be used to help others in his community who were affected by the tornado, including supporting his local church who has been there for the community and him.

After meeting Trevor over the phone, I can honestly say he is a kind, humble, and genuinely grateful person. Like so many others impacted by this devastating tornado, he's focused not only on rebuilding his own life but also on helping those around him.

Trevor Kreke is a young man living alone in Effingham, Illinois, working hard and sharing his faith through TikTok videos. Recently, while filming a storm for his channel, a tornado struck his home. The storm threw him around his house, completely destroying his property and his car. His experience was so remarkable that ABC News shared his video, bringing his story to a wider audience. Despite not knowing Trevor personally, his positive spirit and dedication to his faith have touched many people who have seen his videos.

Trevor now faces the daunting task of rebuilding his life from scratch. The funds raised will help him replace his car, rebuild his home, and hopefully give him the chance to build a place of his own. Whether he was renting or hoping to own, this support can help him recover from the disaster and continue his work and ministry. Your generosity will make a real difference in Trevor’s life, helping him move forward and regain stability.

Sometimes we just see people and know they have a big heart. Trevor is one of those young men. I hope the community can come together, especially those who saw his video, and reach out.
