Hi friends, family, and fellow coffee lovers,

If you dont know me, I'm Trevor Ray, Owner of Monarch Coffee Bar. A small espresso cart with big dreams, community, and specially curated coffee.

In May, our espresso machine broke due to an unreliable power source provided by a building that one of our markets was hosted at. Unfortunately, the property owners and managers have refused to take responsibility for the damage or offer any assistance in replacing the machine, even though it was caused by their mistake.

This setback has cost me and my business thousands of dollars. Without this machine, we are unable to serve our community in the way we want to. No full menu, no full bar, no hot drinks until further notice. (And fall is quickly approaching.)

I am reaching out to you, my extended monarch family and community, for help. Your support (no matter how big or small) will directly go toward a new commercial-grade espresso machine. Allowing us to create our signature lattes once again in their full form.

Running a small business comes with many, many challenges, and this one has been especially hard. We believe in what we're doing and in the power of our community here in Richmond, Va.
