Trever Bass was recently diagnosed with Germ cell cancer, which has manifested itself in the form of a tumor resting above his heart.
Trever is currently undergoing an arduous chemotherapy regiment to shrink the tumor to a more operable size. Trever and Elizabeth have been forced to take leaves of absence from work and self isolate throughout his treatment as Trever's white blood cell count has been wiped out.
Fortunately, Trever has permanent residency in Canada, and most of the cost of his treatment is covered by their amazing healthcare system. However, newlyweds Trever & Elizabeth still have many bills to cover as they work together to get him through treatment. Rent, food, utilities and cost of general living continue to build while their income has suffered as they focus on this unfortunate circumstance in their lives.
If you know Trever and Elizabeth, you know they would do anything for anyone and be the last to ask for charity, so I am here to do that for them. For many years, Trever and Elizabeth have been working in the craft beer industry around the Pacific Northwest. They are some of the kindest individuals I have known in this region, in this industry.
Let's all come together to raise a glass of beer for them as they fight this fight, and let's raise some funds to help alleviate this stressor so they can focus on what is most important, kicking cancer's ass!
Of note, should we raise more funds than Trever & Elizabeth need for their living expenses, they will be donating any excess funds to the American and Canadian Cancer Societies.
