Help Trevaughn Chase His Culinary Dreams in Korea!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Trevaughn, and I’m a 20-year-old student on the Autism spectrum with a deep passion for Culinary Arts. Ever since I was a child, the kitchen has been my happy place — a space where I feel confident, creative, and free to express myself through food.
I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Culinary Arts at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and I’m proud to say I’m defying the odds and following my dreams one dish at a time.
This coming November 2025, I’ve been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a Culinary and Cultural Study Tour to Korea as part of my program. This tour will allow me to explore the rich food traditions of Korean cuisine, learn new techniques from top chefs, and immerse myself in a new culture — all of which will help shape my future as a chef.
To make this dream a reality, I need to raise $6,000 to cover:
Flight and travel costs ✈️
Meals and accommodations
Program fees and cultural excursions
Other essentials and incidentals
As someone on the Autism spectrum, this journey is not just about culinary growth — it’s about personal growth, independence, and proving to myself and others that no dream is too big when you're passionate and determined.
Any donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to this life-changing experience. Even if you're not able to give, sharing this with your friends and family would mean the world to me.
Thank you for supporting my journey — your kindness helps me turn my dreams into reality.
With gratitude,
Trevaughn
