Help Trent's Family Recovery

Many of you know Trent Barrett, and his family that means so much to him. Even if you don’t know Trent; if you’ve been within ear shot, you’ve heard his laughter echo down the hallways, or maybe heard of the legendary joy he seems to emit regardless of the situation. Trent was recently involved in a serious car accident, receiving major spinal injuries, and has since been in the ICU with limited mobility from the sternum down, and difficulty breathing. The family is encouraged by the amazing evidence of grace sustaining him, but extensive injuries & unknown prognosis will take months to years to fully understand & adjust to. Trent is receiving care in Clearlake with expectations to head to the medical center in Houston, Tx. When he can talk, he’s still asking visitors how they are doing, and sharing that smile. This is Trent.

Due level of medical care required 24/7, the inability to currently provide for his family, and no long-term disability, the medical expense will quickly grow exponentially. Trent has an amazing son, a “mini-me” of his parents, who also needs daily care. Our goal with this fundraiser is to support Trent and his family by assisting with medical bills, as they adjust to this unexpected path.

As most of you know, Trent has provided for his family and has always been willing to give the shirt off his back for another. Little did we know that we’d have an opportunity to reciprocate what’s always been second nature to Trent. If you had a need, Trent was always the first one to donate, come over, join you in the gym, or simply listen and bring timely joy to the moment.
