At 3 a.m., on the morning of July 22nd, Trent Rogers's life was unexpectedly changed forever. Trent had an abdominal aortic aneurysm which ended up bursting. This severe medical event typically ends fatally for approximately 8 out of 10 people. Trent's expected survival rate for the first few days was less than 10 %. Today, Trent is still battling in a Florida hospital's critical care unit, overcoming odds daily. As we know Trent, his determination and passion for staying alive are for his two beautiful kids, entire family, and friends.
The journey to things we consider essential will be part 2 of the battle once he can overcome his current struggle to get out of the critical care unit. Things like speaking & walking will require extensive rehabilitation.
Any donation through this go-fund-me would be greatly appreciated if you would like to assist with Trent's financial burden. All funds will go directly to medical and related expenses to help Trent weather the above and beyond what the insurance costs don't cover and are expected to be substantially large. The go-fund-me account will be managed by his mother, Nancy.
On behalf of Trent Roger's mother, Nancy, and his family, they thank you for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support shown over the past ten days and, undoubtedly, in the coming months.
