Help Trent LaBounty Fight Lymphoma!

Hi, my name is Kendra Ziskie. My brother, Jacob LaBounty, and I are trying to raise money for our 23-year-old brother Trent's battle against cancer. Trent has a long, emotional journey ahead, we hope to ease the financial burden of uncovered medical expenses, meals, and transportation for him as he engages in this fight over the coming months.

Trent was born, raised, and lives in Richmond, VT. He only recently began his professional career in Sports Marketing after graduating from the University of Vermont in May of 2022. Trent is a charismatic, energetic, fun-loving guy who can strike up a conversation with anyone with ease. He lights up every room he enters and motivates others to come out of their shells. Whether you need a smile, a laugh, or a good pep talk, Trent is your guy.

He has dedicated countless hours being active and promoting a healthy lifestyle. In college, he served as the UVM Men’s Club Basketball team President and was named a 2nd Team All-American during his senior season. If Trent isn’t on the court with friends, you will find him enjoying time at home with his family, especially cherishing time with his three nephews.

Recently, symptoms of a respiratory infection left Trent feeling unwell, and seeking doctor’s care, unlike his usual healthy self. An unexpected trip to Urgent Care on a casual Friday afternoon turned Trent’s world upside down in moments. Further imaging revealed a mass the size of a hand growing in the left side of his chest, pressing against his heart, lungs, stomach, and spleen. Trent was subsequently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and will soon start treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.

Trent is enduring a tough fight in his daily life, grappling with chronic pain that has stripped away the normalcy he once knew. Despite his fighting spirit, Trent faces significant challenges; please keep him in your prayers as he navigates through this illness and recovery.

At just 23 years old, Trent is concerned about the financial and emotional strain this may place on his loved ones. Family and friends have reached out, offering support, and we believe this fundraiser is an excellent way to help Trent weather this storm.
