Subtrece “Turtle” Small-Ford is a 2X Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor, mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and the epitome of rainbows and sunshine!  She is beautiful inside and out and always upbeat and a constant cheerleader for all of us!  After surviving breast cancer once, it came back in June 2020.  She carries the BRCA1 gene, so a double mastectomy was recommended.  Our “Warrior Princess” beat cancer a second time!  Now she has started the long, costly journey of the breast reconstruction process.  It will entail 4 major surgeries and several minor.  Insurance covers some of the cost; However her out-of-pocket is a single $15,000 payment.
