Our family is asking for your prayers and support for my nephew Tre, who is only 27 years old, and had emergency cancer surgery at UCONN yesterday Oct. 15th, to remove a large, orange-sized tumor. Unfortunately, when the surgeon went in to operate, the tumor had already ruptured and spread to other organs!

For months, Tre has been in and out of hospitals, suffering from severe pain. Each time, he was sent home with pain medications, but with no answers. Every doctor he called had a long wait list, but he was finally seen by a specialist at UCONN, and we learned the truth: Tre has cancer, and the tumor has grown rapidly in a short period of time.

The surgeon was so concerned that he canceled all of his other patients to perform emergency surgery. We were all praying that the surgeons would be able to remove the tumor completely and that it had not spread. So the news that it ruptured was devastating to us all.

Tre has always been a kind, humble, hardworking young man, who takes pride in earning an honest living behind the wheel as a CDL Driver. As a devoted Dad, his favorite pastime is spending time with his adorable, 3-year-old daughter, his twin and best friend. Now, because of this diagnosis, he's unable to work and needs time to heal and recover from the surgeries and upcoming treatments that follow.
