On Friday evening, May 16, our wonderfully gregarious and affable friend, Travis Sabin, and his lovely new bride, Trenise, finished packing their U-Haul to move to Northern California and start their new life adventure. Shockingly, overnight their moving van was stolen. Everything from their entire apartment was packed in the van. Clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchenware and most tragically irreplaceable items like Trenise’s dad’s urn, her wedding dress, Travis’s wedding suit, their wedding album, photos and many other treasured keepsakes.

Travis served as the Director of Activities for a number of years at the Griffin Club. He enhanced nearly every member’s experiences by bringing joy, encouragement, laughter and overall fun to every program he was involved with. While working at the Griffin Club, Travis was passionately dedicated to giving the Club members top notch, smile-inducing experiences no matter what activity they chose to get involved with. If you could now give Travis and Trenice a gift of any sort to help them get back on their feet after this unfortunate event, they would be tremendously grateful.
