Travis and Beth are dear friends from Camp Sunshine pediatric brain tumor camps, and they need our help! 

Travis is a long-time survivor of an inoperable brain tumor who unexpectedly had a massive seizure on 9/11/21. Two doses of rescue meds didn't stop the seizure and he wasn't breathing. He was rushed to the hospital, intubated, put into an induced coma, and transferred to the ICU, staying unconscious for more than 24 hours.

When he came to, he spent another week in the hospital. He was extremely groggy, and his muscles had broken down and released large amounts of lactic acid into his body, causing damage to his liver and kidneys. He is now continuing his recovery at home, and will be following up with his team at CHOP next week.

Travis and his mom have been seriously traumatized and they need our support. Medical emergencies and hospitalizations not only take everything out of a family, they also tax their resources and make it harder to get by.
