Hi, my name is Sherrie, and I am Travis's sister. This campaign is a request for funds to help cover medical expenses for the treatment of an inoperable brain tumor called astrocytoma, grade 3, which Travis was diagnosed with recently. Astrocytoma is a brain tumor arising from astrocytes, which are supportive cells in the brain and spinal cord.

We are all heartbroken and devastated. Those of you who know Travis know that he is one heck of a stand-up guy. He is a dedicated husband and loving father to four children. He served in the Marine Corps AND Army (yes, he's that kind of guy), completing several overseas tours.

Travis is a goofy, loveable guy and he would help out anyone who called upon him. He is faced with 6 weeks of grueling chemotherapy and brain radiation, extended time off from work, exorbitant medical costs, and a laundry list of side effects with an unknown prognosis.
